Some might call it a gift but most of us recognize dog poop in the house for what it is – a disgusting mess.  We wonder if it’s our dog’s bad behavior or if there is some sort of health problem.  Here are some common reasons why your adult dog might be pooping inside:

1.) They’re not properly house trained.  Perhaps they just need a little more work in this area.

2.) They’re stressed.  Some dogs respond to stress by pooping or urinating inside.

3.) They’re eating meals too closely together or they’re not getting enough exercise.  Some dogs will take longer to digest food than others, and some need exercise to get the system moving.

4.) It could be an illness as a result of poor quality food or another factor.  If this unwanted pooping comes on suddenly, you should seriously consider a trip to the vet.

As you can see, most of these reasons for pooping inside have straightforward solutions.  At PURELUXE Pet Food, we make sure to craft every one of our dog and cat formulas with digestive health in mind to make sure everything is running smoothly.  Does your pet’s food do this?  Take a look at all of our formulas at pureluxepetfood.com, and happy digestive health!
